October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about bullying, promoting kindness, and encouraging inclusive environments for children. The event was initially celebrated for just one week, but it has grown into a national movement dedicated to fostering safe and supportive communities for all students. Each year, schools across the country take part in activities and campaigns to stop bullying before it starts, ensuring that every child feels safe and included.  

Unity Day: Wear and Share Orange

At the heart of National Bullying Prevention Month is Unity Day, which takes place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. On this day, individuals are encouraged to wear orange as a visible symbol of unity, promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. By wearing orange, we send a powerful message of support, reminding everyone that kindness and inclusion should be practiced not just during this month, but every day. The hashtag #UnityEveryDay encapsulates this mission, urging everyone to continue promoting acceptance throughout the school year.

How HongDe Prevents Bullying
