Lunar New Year 2025: Celebrating the Year of the Snake
At HongDe, we believe in celebrating cultural diversity and fostering global awareness. This year, we rang in the Year of the Snake with exciting activities, conventional customs, and lots of fun! Our students learned about Lunar New Year traditions, wore red for good luck, and even became part of a dragon dance!

HongDe Elementary welcomed Karina Zhou for a virtual author visit to kick off January! Students were inspired by her book Kai’s Tea Eggs, celebrating cultural heritage and individuality.
