Ms. Ivy Szeto is known for her enthusiasm, dedication, and unwavering commitment to student success. At HongDe Elementary, she brings both a wealth of teaching experience and a passion for fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

With a Bachelor of Education (with first-class honors) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Ms. Szeto is a BC-certified teacher with over five years of experience teaching in diverse classroom settings in both Hong Kong and Vancouver. Her background spans teaching students from Grade 1 to Grade 7, making her well-versed in guiding young learners through foundational stages of growth.

Ms. Szeto’s ability to create engaging, supportive classrooms shines in every lesson, and her excitement for her new role in Grade 2-3 is felt by students and colleagues alike. We’re thrilled to have her continue her journey with HongDe, now as a core teacher for our Grade 2-3 students, inspiring curiosity and excellence in every child.
