Earthquake Drill

Safety first! On June 5th, we will be conducting an Earthquake Drill to ensure that all students and staff are prepared in the event of an earthquake. This drill is crucial for teaching everyone how to respond quickly and effectively during an emergency. We will practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” techniques and review our evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of our entire school community.

Dragon Boat Festival

Join us on June 10th as we celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. This traditional Chinese holiday commemorates the life and death of the ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan. Our students will learn about the history and significance of this festival, participate in fun activities, and enjoy some delicious traditional treats like zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). It’s a wonderful opportunity to embrace cultural diversity and have a great time!

Father’s Day Party: HongDe Fathers, You’re Invited!

Join us for a special Father’s Day Party on June 14th at HongDe Elementary!

Come celebrate with fun activities, delicious treats, and memorable moments with your children. We can’t wait to honor and appreciate all the amazing dads in our community.

Father’s Day

On June 16th, we celebrate Father’s Day! This is a day dedicated to all the wonderful fathers and father figures who play an essential role in our lives. At HongDe, we encourage students to express their love and appreciation for their dads through heartfelt messages, handmade cards, and small tokens of gratitude. Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there!

School Assembly

Our monthly School Assembly will be held on June 21st. This assembly is a time for our school community to gather, celebrate achievements, and share important announcements. We will also highlight the outstanding efforts of our students in demonstrating the virtue of the month. It’s a great way to foster school spirit and unity.

Year-End Performance

Mark your calendars for June 24th! Our Year-End Performance is always a highlight of the school year. Students have been working hard to prepare performances, including music, dance, and drama. This event showcases the incredible talents of our students and celebrates their artistic achievements. Family and friends are invited to join us for an evening of entertainment and joy.

Report Card Day

June 27th is Report Card Day. Students will receive their report cards, reflecting their hard work and progress throughout the term. It’s an important moment for students, parents, and teachers to review achievements, discuss areas for improvement, and set goals for the future. Well done to all our students for their dedication and effort!

Administration Day (No School)

Please note that June 28th is Administration Day, and there will be no school for students. This day allows our teachers and administrative staff to prepare for the upcoming term, finalize reports, and plan for the next school year. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break!
